Final Project Objectives and Scope
For my final project, I will create a five to seven minute multimedia presentation about databases and SQL. The objective of the project is to explain what databases are, how SQL helps retrieve and manage information, and how common SQL commands such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE support real websites and applications. The scope of the project includes planning the presentation, creating an outline, writing a script, recording the presentation, editing the final video, and getting feedback before submitting the final version.
Final Project Gantt Chart
The Gantt chart below shows the schedule for completing the final project before the May 8, 2026 due date. The plan includes the required tasks for the template, storyboard or outline, script, recording, editing, and stakeholder feedback.
Reflection
While completing this activity, I learned how project management helps organize a larger assignment into smaller tasks with clear deadlines. Creating a Gantt chart helped me see how each part of the final project connects to the next step, from building the template to receiving feedback. I can apply this process in future school, work, and technology projects by planning tasks early, tracking progress, and leaving time to revise before the deadline.
